Once you’ve
created a Live Document, you can share it with anyone
who has an email address. The addresses are kept
as contacts in Live Documents.
Create Contacts, Groups and Permission Templates.
Each time you share a document with a contact, the e-mail addresses of your contacts are automatically added to your Live Documents contacts roster. Similarly, each time a document is shared with you, the author's e-mail address is added to your contacts roster.
You can create groups of contacts and share a document with an entire group at any time. If you want to specify the same configuration of permissions to multiple contacts, you can create a permission template and reuse it.
New
Documents Notification
You’ll
notice a “Recent Documents ” list
on your user dashboard when someone shares
with you. Click it to view the document..
Permissions
You can specify granular permssions to each user that you wish to share a document with - you can specify if a user can view, edit, copy or print a document. You can also set expiry dates after which a user cannot access a document. You can also choose to restrict users to a single computer (by specifying a "no-roaming" clause) and disallow offline access on their desktops.
All permissions can be modified or revoked at any point of time.
Sharing Your Comments...in real-time too!
Your friends
and family can also add comments to a shared document. If multiple people are looking
at the document at the same time, they can even have a real-time chat from right within the document context - including audio and video conversations!
