Get the Desktop Client
If you are a Windows users and already use Microsoft Office, we recommend that you download and install the Live Documents desktop client from here.
Launch the desktop software by clicking the "Share this document" button within your Office application (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Getting Around
Now that you have
created an account, fire up a browser and sign in to your personal Live Documents account. From here you can navigate to your
document, and specify the contacts
you want to share them with. You can add new documents or upload your existing documents to share them with others. If other users have shared documents with you, they will show up automatically here without requiring them to email it to you.

Creating
new Live Documents.
To create
a new document, click on the "Create Document" button. from the user dashboard page (the default page that you see when you log in).
Once
you’ve created a Live Document, you can view and edit it within a browser from anywhere. You can also share it securely with your contacts - Live Documents gives you unprecedented control over your documents by allowing you to specify who can access your documents and what each person can do with it - you can revoke or modify permissions at any point of time and all such changes are propagated immediately. Importing existing documents.
You can import an existing document and convert it to a Live Document in two ways - firstly, you can log in to your account from a browser and click on the "Create Document" button - from this screen, you can choose to upload a document from your system - Live Documents automatically converts this document into a form that makes it possible to view and edit the same in a browser.
Alternatively, if you have installed the Live Documents client, you can click on the "Share this document" button on the Live Documents toolbar within Word, Excel or PowerPoint and a web version is automatically created for you - this mechanism offers greater fidelity than the upload variation.
